We ordered a Neff ceramic hob from Currys - T10B40...

We ordered a Neff ceramic hob from Currys - T10B40X2 - on 2 Jan 2015 because 2 rings had failed and it was clearly on its way out. 11 days later we were contacted by Currys delivery service saying that our choice of delivery dates was 19, 21 or 26 Jan. None of these dates were convenient so we asked if the hob could be delivered to my wife's business address. Answer NO. So we asked if it could be delivered to a Currys store for collection. Answer No again.

So, on 14 Jan we cancelled our order with Currys and re-ordered from MARKS ELECTRICAL. Yes, the hob was in stock. When would I like it to be delivered? Tomorrow? Certainly sir, we can deliver to your postcode tomorrow. The order arrived 24 hours after we placed it. I was given a 2 hour window so I did not have to wait in all day. The delivery men were really pleasant and helpful. The score is definitely Marks Electrical 1... Currys 0.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Marks Electrical. We got the hob we wanted at a price that was cheaper than Currys by a pound and best of all excellent service. 5 stars!
