The only reason I rate them 2 stars versus 1 is so...

The only reason I rate them 2 stars versus 1 is solely on the fact they allowed a deferment because I was a little backed up.

I don't knock the 16% interest rate they gave me because I had really bad credit.

I had automatic payments set up for the 1st and 15th. I got a phone call from them on the 3rd telling me I was one month late. I thought that was odd seeing as I have automatic payments and the funds were clearly available. I was told I owe 450$ (70$ late fee) and offered me a deferment. I accepted the deferment for a month so I could catch back up. After catching up and in the middle of my deferment I get another call.

This time I was told my car is endanger f being repossessed if I don't pay off my missed payments. I told the rep that I have a deferment and made the late payments. He told me that's not true and I now owe 520$ (another 70$ late fee). I'm livid at this point and told him if that's true, then I will dispute the 450$ out of my Navy Federal bank and his company can explain why they are ripping off active duty military.

I was put on hold as he talked to his supervisor and he came back on and apologised and said he didn't see "previous notes" on my account.

I worked in call centers for insurance verification and customer service for verizon before the army. I'm nt an idiot. I know exactly what he sees. The minute I answer the phone and he verifies my identification he has access to all notes from every call I've made to them, or they've made to me.

The employee blatantly lied to me over the phone to collect a debt that wasn't there. I'm selling this car, paying off Security National, and never working with this company again.
