My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night while sight-seeing in London. We are both Platinum rewards members and have had the privilege of staying in many phenomenal Marriott properties throughout the last few years. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with this hotel.

Pros: Clean, spacious room with very nice decor. The pool was very refreshing after a day on our feet. The lounge was wonderful. The view from our room was unbeatable.

Cons: Requested an upgraded room with my Platinum status upon arrival. We told Mika at the front desk that we were happy to wait for the best possible room. A few hours later, we were given our key to a "Deluxe Room" (the room we booked) with no view. We called down and requested a better room. We were eventually shown to a room with a view. We were never offered a platinum arrival gift. My husband requested one. It arrived to our room several hours later after multiple requests. We were never given instructions on how to use the pool. We eventually learned that we needed to go to the "club" to request the door code. There were no towels at the pool. The communication and service at this hotel was simply not up to par with the Marriott brand we have become accustomed to.
