I requested a quote and wasn't sure how it would be calculated. My storage was being calculated by weight, even though nothing had been weighed, I received a quote for over six thousand pounds of furniture. I am not sure how one bed and clothing and a sofa, chair and ottoman come to over 6 thousand pounds. At any rate, my quote was in excess of $7,000 for a temp move that was a mile away and storage of remaining furniture. This quote exceeded my other quotes by thousands of dollars, not two thousand, not three thousand, but four thousand dollars. I was very disappointed and felt like I was being taken advantage of as a consumer. How does this happen???
