From my first call to Griffin they were 100% customer service oriented. We called for a second opinion because another contractor said we needed to replace our unit due to a coolant leak. 1st contractor said that he couldn't say for sure WHERE the leak was, but since our unit was 10+ years old it wasn't worth spending any more money to look because we could spend money on coolant that could be going toward the new unit. The logic was sound, but I wanted a second opinion to be sure.
We paid Griffin to come out and give us that 2nd opinion. They went the extra mile (without asking) to use a sensor to confirm that the leak was in a location that made repairing the current unit cost prohibitive (in the core). While the first contractor was right, either he didn't want to go that one step further - or they didn't have the tool that Griffin had to test for the presence of coolant in the air. The 1st contractor wasn't bad, but I felt that Griffin has earned the business after confirming 100% the other contractors "hunch".
Once we signed with them, we got text updates on WHO was coming (with photos so we could recognize them) and when they would be there. Even a link to see how close they were. We were put on the schedule, and the techs were at our house exactly when they said they would be. They did the work, they put drop cloths everywhere, and they completed the job within about 15 minutes of the estimated completion time.
I have no problem giving these guys a 100% recommendation. They were 100% professional from the word go.
