The supervisor would not allow my husband to get his PRINTED check from work cleared because he deposited it on June 29 and it can't clear until Friday July 6 because "his 30 days of being a new member is up on July 1 (2 DAYS FROM TODAY). If he would have deposited it today then he could possibly get it cleared immediately". This lady WOULD NOT allow his check to clear because he deposited it 2 DAYS before his 30th day being a new member with day 30 being on a SUNDAY. He was unaware of this 30 day policy but she said "IT'S WRITTEN ALL OVER YOUR SIGNED PAPERS". I explained to her how TODAY IS MONDAY AND YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO ALLOW THIS CHECK TO CLEAR WHEN TODAY WAS MONDAY, 1 DAY AFTER HIS 30 DAYS AS A NEW MEMBER AND SHE SAYS THAT "He should have waited until today to deposit the check and it would have cleared immediately, but since he deposited on Friday June 29th then it won't clear until July 6th". I then asked her "So we have to go an entire week with no money, no food, and no gas?" and she replied with "YES SO SORRY"!!! This was the customer service supervisor with Greater Texas Credit Union of Austin support line, unfortunately I was so angry that I didn't get her name or it would DEFINITELY BE IN THIS REVIEW! Anyways my Husband went down to our local Aggieland Credit Union and he said they cleared the check immediately and removed all his fees, that he had already had attempting to pull from his account, without him even having to ask. So Aggieland Credit Union is GREAT!! But the support call center located in Austin is BEYOND TERRIBLE!!!
