Abco Services, Inc. Review

Scott was highly unprofessional. I was standing by to ensure that the car being towed remained unharmed (this was a friend's car at my apartment complex). Scott, in all of his infinite towing wisdom, swore like a sailor demanding I "back away from the vehicle" as I am standing on the curb at least 5 feet away. I attempted to make conversation at first and was met with a raging hostility from a man who is clearly insecure with his own life choices. He resorted to attempting to insult me and my education (yeah, I know, right?) and disrespected me even though my rent is paying his minimum wage hourly towing job.
He began to move the car in an unsafe situation in which I was directly behind it and did not have a chance to move. It was at this point that I asked for his name which he refused to give me. I was able to ask a security officer from my apartment complex and get his name. I will be looking into the options of a lawsuit in the near future for the danger that Scott put me in, as well as the disrespect he paid me.
Needless to say, Scott would be great on his own TV show. He clearly goes "0 to 100" emotionally very quickly, which is perfect for reality TV. Although there may be certain IQ and intelligence tests that scott would inevitably fail as a prerequisite to creating this show, I feel as though those could be waved in lieu of Scott's "unique" personality.

EDIT: Called Abco yesterday to make a complaint. The office manager was very nice and willing to speak with me. She told me she would forward my complaint on to the towing manager who would call me back later that day. I never got a call. I called back today and spoke with "Joe" the towing manager. He was just as disrespectful as Scott was, calling me an "idiot" almost as soon as I started speaking with him. I could barely get a word in edgewise -- reminiscent of my "discussion" with Scott -- as Joe kept trying to talk over me. Needless to say, I will never suggest this company to anyone. Highly unprofessional and very rude.

Talking about a great experience. That would be an understatement. Tony (truck #304) showed up promptly. Got the job done efficiently and effectively in a matter of minutes. He was very professional, friendly, and courteous. It was like having a friend with a tow business come to my house and help. I'd refer ABCO and Tony - 304 to anyone that needs car assistance. Great guy great company.

Worst Western plow dealer I've dealt with. Call 3 times during 8-5 hours and "they're not available right now can I take a message" and NEVER been called back. I've drove to Wixom MI for my plow parts at Angelos to by pass this horrible disservice they call Customer service.

Courteous staff very helpful salesman that knew what they were talking about Matt Zimmerman was very helpful in my quest for snow and ice equipment

Broke down on Rte 90...Dual wheel RV..Both tires blown driverside...Little Hoss and Gary showed uo..A-Team..Great guys Gary's customer service was outstanding and a total bailout...Thank you Guys !!!!

I called 8 am when they first opened and the older lady who answers the phone was very rude. I asked how much for a tow she said it real fast asked could she repeat herself said it fast again. After repeating it four times she slowed down the last time so could hear her. Then continued with the conversation about towing my truck gave her my make model she didnt what it was thats fine got real quiet then said hello im writing down information i said i didnt know if you hung up she started getting rude and nasty for no reason said ill hang up on you i said just have a blessed day.

I got my car towed today by ABCO and the guy that came out was super nice. He tried helping me with my car and hoping it didn't need a tow, but it did. He was very friendly and knew what he was doing. So glad he came out to help.

Excellent job hooked me up with 4 fisher plows over 3 year period when I'm down they get me up an running asap abco is the way to go don't buy anywhere else choose the best abco all the way

Very helpful staff! They are always someone I can call or text and ask questions about equipment, parts, problems, sizes and measurements, etc, and they are quick to repair and help keep you going!!! I ordered my gravely zero turn through them and have been taken care of every time I needed. Awesome company I m very glad I found them.

Chad was the very best polite technician I have had on the road as a truck driver in a long time. I have been a driver for 34 yrs. Chad helped me a lot I was stuck with no transportation my truck is at the International dealer for up to 7 days . Chad took me to a local motel and helped me get a discount and took me 2 the truck stop so I could get a com c k cared to pay for the room and took me back . I hope that whoever needs a service truck gives these guys a call . God bless you Chad and Thx so much

I had broke down and was very upset. ABC came out to give me a tow to a shop. The driver,Anthony, was so professional and nice. Needless to say my bad mood was gone. He had me laughing and everything. I would definitely recommend this company for a tow!!! I had a wonderful experience. Thank God for Anthony!!!!

Terrible Service. Very rude on the phone and wasn't willing to help resolve an issue with a semi trailer. Hung up twice on me. I would not recommend doing any business with these people.

Great tow company. I needed a car transported from Toledo to Dayton Ohio this past week. Gary showed up on time, safely loaded my car & made it to its destination with no issues!

SoRa or whatever her name was was rude she didn t want to help at all nor any endorsements in helping us out the snow!! literally hours stuck in the snow I m very disappointed

TW truck 304 helped up out. Got us out of a bad situation and changed our tire. 10/10 would call again.

Don't bother for a truck towing service. They have a 10 mile radius and claim to tow commercial fleet. I had a truck an whole extra 6 miles away. Well that was a no go, I guess 6 miles is hard for these people with a TOWING business to drive. Dumbest thing I ever heard from experience with a multitude of towing companies I've used. These people do not belong in commercial towing, it requires a 75 to 100 mile radius. Not 10 miles. I'll never dial their number and I recommend you don't either.

The customer support was ATROCIOUS !!
They argued for hours about a simple problem they created ,and they refused to acknowledge their mistake. Wonder how they got the job. Sad!

Would give no stars if I could. Make sure you remove ALL of your belongings if they tow your car because they might go "missing".

I had a great experience with Abco Services. Even though I had my car towed for parking in a spot I shouldn't have, I had a good experience. the ladies in the office treated me with respect and offered me a pop while another employee jumped my car cuz the battery was dead. I have been towed by other companies and they were not very nice like Abco was. then when I partied on new years eve I called Abco and they towed me for free! guess they offer that to everyone on new years eve to keep people safe. I will always call Abco for my towing needs

Yesterday I was at COSTCO on Central Avenue and when I came out my car would not start. It was completely dead. Your tow truck driver, Adam Johnson, came to my rescue. He was excellent, courteous, pleasant and he went above and beyond to meet my needs. I would recommend that you value this employee as he is an asset to your operations.

Abco is the best for emergencies. Gary got up out of his sleep in the rain at 4am to jumpstart my car. He served with a smile and was all around great. I will definitely be using abco for all my roadside needs

We ran into some care trouble on the highway, while passing through the Toledo area. The guys at ABCO Services were outstanding in helping get our car off the road and to the dealership. In fact, they drove a second truck out to make sure the whole family got off the road. They even took my wife to the rental car place to pick up a car to continue our journey. Terrance (304) was super kind and professional. These guys are top notch!

I had a great experience with this company and the service man Anthony (Tony, truck #304)! He came in a timely manner and was sure to communicate with me when he was arriving. My tire was caved in due to me breaking my CV joint but Tony did a great job not causing any further damage to my car while towing it. Definitely will be putting them in my contacts for future needs!

A malfunctioning key fob wouldn't let you car start. Joe went above and beyond to get me on the road. He was friendly, pleasant and professional! Great job! Great guy!

I had a 28ft semi trailer i needed moved, first off Lillian was such a sweet woman and she was so helpfull in getting the move set up, John was very accommodating to the needs of the project, and Gary was the one to move it. Gary showed up and was very proffesional and knowledgeable, he knew exactly how to do everything that needed to be done! I couldn't have asked for a better crew!!!! 10/10 thanks guys!!!

Little Joe was so kind to me in the middle of the snowstorm by making small talk ,smiling ,chatting , & was very quick and professional getting my car on the lift. He answered my questions & was very nice. Little Joe should get a raise ,and I was sad to hear his answer when I asked him, do you get time and a half or double time since it s a federal holiday today MLK? and he doesn t! so please pay your employees time and a half or double time on federal holidays because working in the snow and laying on the cold ground is a lot of work!! thank you little Joe for Excellent prompt professional service!!!!!!!!

I was stranded on the side of the highway because of a flat tire during a road trip, and Abco came in little to no time to assist me with repair. I m grateful for their help in such a dangerous situation especially when my own emergency roadside assistance was unable to provide help.

They all were very nice and helpful and even loaded my truck I thought they were great
