Great way to spend the day and see how the other half lived. Gardens are spectacular well kept and offer some good walking. However they do a land train and you can hire golf buggies to get you round. Things to note, queues to get into the Palace are long. Book online, we went in with a local tour company and fast passed but this still took 20 minutes others who hadn't pre-booked took 3 hours to get in. Be aware the fountains are not always on, check the website to see when they are on if this is a must see for you, but beware the Palace is even busier on them days. Take water in with you, there is nowhere to purchase any from time you get in queue until you have finished the tour.
