3 months later we are still having issues with a section we purchased. I pulled the couch out to vacuum and noticed that 2 cushions were discolored and a different material. I called to store and spoke to Monica who told me to bring in the incorrect cushions and a correct one. She also told me it was my responsibility to inspect the couch. Two delivery people were here, assembled, it and photographed it. I immediately asked to speak to the store manager. He told me he would have a tech call and implyed that would happen immediately. I was not home so I requested my husband receive the call. They did call, my husband did not answer but called back and told me that the earliest they could come out was Tuesday afternoon. Both of us are swamped and due to the multiple issues we had in September, I feel they should work around us.(see review from September) I called John and he accused my husband of not answering the phone. I told John that my husband immediately called back and the earliest they could come was Tuesday. I told John that this is unacceptable and that John implied that a tech would come out on
Sunday. I also told him that I was willing to bring the cushions in and he told me that I could not do that. I told him I wanted a tech to call me immediately and I also demanded that they will be working around our schedule. I believe In an effort to get me off the phone, John claimed someone would be calling me before the store closed. That call never came. I did ask for contact for the higher ups and I was told that they do not take phone calls. I referred back to my past reviews and saw I dealt with a Susan L. Come to find out she is the Human Resources director perhaps her time would be better used educating the staff on customer service skills and product knowledge I was led to believe that she was a store manager . John also indicated that yesterday was the first he was hearing about our issues in September. Again I referred back to my past reviews and sure enough he was involved. John also accused my of calling him names..I NEVER once called him a name although I would have been well in my right. So bottom line, here I sit 3 months later with an incorrect product and no resolution. Do yourself a favor, spend a little extra and go to Steinhafels where customers are treated in an appropriate manner. Irregardless of when I found the issue, there is still and issue. My guess is one of us will inevitably have to take off work, they will have to special order the cushions wait another 6 weeks and hope it s correct. Absolutely unacceptable!
