I always thought this hotel was gorgeous, and decided to have my wedding here. OMG do I regret this. It was the worse day of my life. I payed an extra night to make sure everything was installed on time the night before the wedding as the wedding planers and person in charge of events agreed. The hotel said they won t provide a ladder, (all tho previously agreed) so no instillation was possible. The whole night was a complete waste of money and time, the security manager was beyond rude and completely clueless of the whole event and extremely unhelpful. The next day (wedding day) they still didn t provide any ladder for installation of the decorations... By the time it was 4 pm (2 hours before the wedding) they finally brought the ladder after me practically begging and at the edge of crying. This didn t give us time to set up properly so all the flowers I payed for ended up in a box and everything looked half finished, not to mention the stress they put me through, I ended up looking my worse. (Thank god for photoshop) not happy with all this the hotel kept asking me to change rooms when I was in the process of getting ready and into my wedding dress, so I packed up and then they never showed up. This cut my time in half so I couldn t get my hair done. After this the photographer was supposed to come and do my part of the photo shoot but the hotel didn t let her in (she was listed as the photographer of the wedding). They had let her in before; but they decided not to afterwards so I don t have any pictures of me getting ready... Thanks Za abeel Saray... After this, they were still asking me again to move to an other room during the reception. So after them being extremely annoying I had to leave the reception and in my wedding dress ripping off my vail, went to the room and packed up again! To move to the other room. And finally went to the party again; during the party then they came and wanted to charge me for a bottle some guest supposedly had but were unable to show me what bottle or what guest. At night when everything was finally over (or so I thought) I took my little sister to my room as it was a 2 bedroom suite, but they called security and told me I have to get my little sister out of the hotel. Trying to reason with these people for a while after the worst day my life was not easy; at this point I was so done with the Zabeel Saray I told this manager to call the police if he wanted to, to take the room door down but I was not going to take my little sister anywhere at 2 in the morning and she was staying with me. Oh it s not done yet. The next morning when my husband and I checked out we had a bill of 2000 for some mini bar stuff. We never even had the time to see if there was a mini bar. Again I had to dig where this was coming from, for them to say it was mistake and I m good to go. I never heard anything from this hotel ever again, no thanks for using their terrible hotel, or any apologies for ruining our wedding and making our stay unbearable. I do not recommend this hotel. Go, take pictures grab a bite if you want; and run away for your mental safety.
