They mean well but are disorganized and understaff...

They mean well but are disorganized and understaffed. I wanted to visit with a dog which was listed as available. However after waiting for about 20 minutes they told me it was not as several people moved ahead of me. I spoke with staff who matched me with another dog. The guy at the front desk told me people were placed ahead of me even though I'd waited. Apparently this is the busiest (not necessarily best) shelter. Try a different location if you want to meet a dog in a timely manner. *i support and have adopted from shelters in the past. None has had quite this long of a wait time or lack of staffing. I hope that they improve their organization because it's a wonderful cause.*
