The hotel was lovely. Our room was okay. It wasn't very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We were not able to use the spa because they were booked up which was a bummer. The restaurant was absolutely terrible. They asked if we had a reservation at 4 in the afternoon when no one was there. The food was awful. Our appetizer was supposed to be some sort of meat platter. It was awful! We ordered the short ribs. I have no idea what the flow of that dish was supposed to be. It had some weird undercooked waffle fries topped on it. We had to walk down the street to get barbecue. We spent our evening in the lap pool since they would not let us have Grotto passes. The lap pool was beautiful with very pleasant music playing. There were these awful White things at the bottom of the pool that you kept hitting your toes on. Several of them. Would I stay there again? Not for the price we paid.
