Oessa is a regular old school East Side diner. They serve Eastern European fair such as blintzes and pierogies, borscht and more. They also serve American food like hamburgers with pickles and french fries. It is very similar to the Greek diners in Queens, there is a very thick menu and you can probably find whatever it is that you want. They have coffee and fountain soda and tea and alcohol. They have a decent amount of seating, you probably won t wait for a table. Where across the street from Tompkins Square Park which has a rich cultural history.
