Review of Vail Marriott Mountain Resort

Beautiful location - that's for sure!!!

Beautiful location - that's for sure!!!
But unfortunately this is pretty much the only thing this "resort" has going for it. This place is in desperate need for a make over to justify the prices they are charging! No problems with staff , but it took many reminders at times to get something simple as more towels...
What bothered me the most is the insane heat in this place ( aka old air/ heat system) - the hallways were sweltering . We slept with an open balcony door at 26 F outside... because you could not cool your room down!!!!
This is after a maintenance guy came and changed the filter for us - that did it - NOT!!!
With the heat, of course comes a desert like dryness - which made the stay even more miserable. Oh, each room is equipped with a HOT AIR humidifier - that does - NOTHING!!!
BTW - we are platinum elite members- so not our first place...
