Avoid this service center like the plague. It took three weeks to get my car back for a warranty repair on a steering column control module, which was causing several steering wheel buttons to not work (the cruise control was non-functioning and the volume buttons didn't work). While I was retrieving my car, a man was sitting there equally discontent that it'd taken two days just to get an oil change.
There is not a single chance on this planet that I will ever bring my car back to your woefully under-staffed service department that has ONE experienced electronics technician working 80 cars in queue every day. I didn't have to pay a dime for the service or the rental, and I still will never bring my car back. I'll go to Lynn Layton, or I'll drive a lot further if I have to.
The ONLY reason I am giving you two stars is because your service advisors and service manager did what was necessary to keep me in a vehicle for the three weeks it took to fix my car, and it didn't cost me a penny (as it shouldn't for someone with a "Platinum Care" extended warranty on top of the regular bumper-to-bumper warranty).
Frankly, it shouldn't cost anyone within the regular warranty a dime either, and this is a serious problem with Ford, if it's true that it's a Ford policy to not provide a loaner anymore for warranty work unless you have an extended warranty. That's what I was told when I was there, and I was utterly disappointed in my recent purchase of a Ford vehicle when I was told that. If that's true, this will be my last Ford. Very sad, as I come from a family of Ford owners.
