My wife and I have been going to Metropolitan for years, starting with our first Labrador in about 2002. We went there just prior to Memorial Day 2020 when our second Lab suddenly could not walk at all - Metropolitan diagnosed him with a bacterial spinal infection with a very very guarded prognosis.

The veterinarians explained to us exactly what happened (time and time again because we did not understand) and set forth the options we had for him, with all the possible problems and benefits.

We just cannot be more pleased with the knowledge, professionalism, and care given to us by everyone on the staff, especially in COVID-19 times. It was a very difficult time getting the diagnosis and seeing him so very ill. The doctors and the staff were caring, patient, and helpful, especially given that we thought he was going to pass away that day and the thought of losing our best friend so suddenly was devastating.

For years we have been recommending Metropolitan and we will continue to do so. It is a wonderful veterinary hospital.
