Selene Finance is the devil. Our mortgage was sold to them with out our permission. We made our house payment on time, we also like to pay 20 extra dollars to our principal which just happens to be the same amount as the late fee. They purposely held our payment past the due date for ten months in a row to collect our extra principal payment as a late fee. We never got this resolved because their customer service flat out denied it. Finally we decided to re-finance to another bank that would not sell our mortgage. They act like a debt collection company with the front of being a mortgage company so they can get away with mortgage insurance on top of home owners insurance, hidden fees, and shady policies. If your mortgage gets sold to this company, re-finance ASAP!
