Remarking our brief visit to the boozy cow, I would firstly like to say that it was and to quote, the worst bar I have ever been in a point reiterated by a fellow punter outside of the bar, waiting to be served.
After being drawn in by quirky and edgy looking exterior we perhaps expected at least a friendly and vibrant atmosphere, only to be greeted by unfriendly and frankly rude staff who seemed more focused on pushing away those who were here for a drink and a good time in favour of those who d booked tables; in promise of a higher spend inside the bar. As soon as we finished our two weak pints of lager we were promptly and rudely ushered out of the bar to quote we need your table now , no suggestion of moving seating, let alone a hint of basic manners. Won t be visiting this dingy spot again. The graffiti inside acts as a draw and is essentially their attempt at having an atmosphere, equivalent to fake crowd noise at football games; loud but devoid of any character an actual vibe.
Despite these trying times we face, there was what seemed, a very lapsed attempt at gaining custom in usual and given manners in the hospitality trade- hospitality being a word which could possibly revised by all members of staff (maybe at the next team building?). Having been pressured to exit the premises toot sweet, it s safe to say we weren t heartbroken to have not even finished the two pints of piss water served.Ps. We don t give 1 Star ratings lightly.
