Marvellous place in a truly great location. Welcoming, friendly staff and nice touches such as happy hour with nibbles (over a two hour period)and nice facilities such as table and seating outside the room along with swing seats. Well manicured grounds with outside seating aplenty and nice views over the bay.

Quirky breakfast with two choices of main supplemented by a variety of additions of your choice. Quirky but pleasant.

Four rather than five stars for me as I feel it is sometimes a fine line between rustic charm and the need for attention i.e. poorly fitting doors that unsympathetic visitors find a need to slam to close (sometimes at unsocial hours), wardrobes with missing panels and broken door mechanisms, a chest of drawers that barely retain a draw when fully open and movement sensor outside lights that do not switch off (leading to light leaking into the room at night - I unscrewed the bulb) .

These are undoubtedly relatively minor but, given the price, something that in my opinion slightly detract from the experience.
