Simply a fantastic animal shelter. We've adopted 3 dogs - Sabrina in 2002, Tiny in 2015, and Odie in 2017. All have been wonderful members of our family, and came with detailed information about the animal and any health concerns or issues, so we we're informed right from the start. DCHS does such a great job getting dogs adopted that they often take dogs from other shelters down south. Staff and volunteers are always top notch and willing to help as well.
