Reston Community Center Review

This place is a great place for gatherings. The down side is the parking. You park in the shopping center and walk there. It is behind the shopping center. The pool does get cramped with people from time to time

A wonderful institution...but prices are creeping up. Volunteers are great. Offerings tend to reflect Reston political lean so one-sided.

Incredibly unprofessional and unhelpful front desk staff. I visited the community center for the first time this week and was met with attitude and defensive responses to the questions I asked. Discouraged. Will not be returning and will not be recommending.

Class was amazing. However, there are homeless people that hang around there.

No dedicated parking. No disabled parking. Climbed snow banks in shopping center and walked. Front desk is clueless about scheduled events location in the center.

Had a relative who throw a baby shower their it was great

The aquatics center is still under construction and it is sad to miss all year round pool.

Beautiful facility, integrated into the neighborhood as Reston is designed to do. But the place can be a parking nightmare, as it shares parking with a busy shopping center. Unfortunately, not all users are in walking/biking distance. It's a real shame.

Indoor pool is nice. Apart from it closing too early, it's a great community center. Offers an area for the arts, a stage, and many great programs. It's good for what it is.

Spacious venue.. good decor. Great for hosting special occasions...

Definitely needs a bit of a facelift but am grateful for all the wonderful programs provided, particularly for toddlers.

Very active community center with lots to do for all ages. Also a really nice rental area for events.

The Reston Community Center has one of the best equipped woodworking shops in Fairfax County that's open to the public.

Nice facility in Reston. Currently their indoor pool is closed for renovations. Enjoyed the Reston Camp Expo hosted there.

This place seems pretty nice however the pool has been closed for a long time now.

Tucked away community center with plenty of room and many art shows.

We rent it the big party room but they don't give the propper bolumen to the speakers

It is behind a Shopping center only if you know that is there you can get there, plus you have to park at the shopping center parking lot. Not good.

Friendly & helpful staff - great place to see a show, host an event or go for a swim.

Nice big hall for birthday, graduation parties. Easily accessible. Ampful parking.

Nice and family friendly place with many programs and activities for kids and family.
Sometimes is hard to find a parking spot.
Also, I give them 4 stars because sometimes I have smelled too much chlorine base material in their pool.

It has Public Restrooms, activities for Adults (pottery) and a small Gallery at times...
A help Desk also.

My favorite place for swim lessons in Northern Virginia. My son gets more lessons for less cost than at Goldfish. I like the RCC pool area so much more than Goldfish because it is a fraction of the noise and chaos.

They have a wide variety of programs that are discounted for Reston residents. I saw a Veteran's Day performance by Stephen Lang and a MLK Day performance by Anna Deveare Smith. Both were phenomenal. I'm honestly surprised that they had this caliber show out in the burbs. Parking is at the Safeway shopping center.

Was here for a wedding they have a inside pool here which was under maintenance at the time they have a help desk here for questions.

Great facility, great activities, and at an affordable price. The staff are friendly and helpful.

You pay $15 and get access to industrial woodworking machines with an on-staff teacher/consultant to help with your project! FABULOUS! No waiting, either.

I love going here to see a show great staff very helpful it good to fun for the hole family.

Very nice multipurpose room- can be decorated and fancified for a more upscale event.

My wife forgot a new jacket on a chair there. We went the next day and the front desk people looked indifferent and didn't bother to look for it. I think our organization will never use this center again.

Great place for the kids, many different food stops for everyone to enjoy.

I frequently bartend private parties here and love the venue. There is a great space for dancing as well as dining. The commercial kitchen is great for use also. I have done lots of Indian parties and the space is always decorated so beautifully! Great place for celebrations of all kinds! Star Bartenders and Event Staff if you're interested in a venue approved service team.

Tonight's play A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder was awesome!!

Why are the people at the front desk so rude and not friendly?

Reston Community center has multie activities for all ages. All employees are friendly and like to help. The swimming pool is very clean and theater is well prepared.

They have wonderful programs for all ages, a theater with eclectic performances, a swimming pool, and more. You can rent out space for parties.

Nice community center i take my son to the playgroup class which is free and held twice a week. Staff is very nice. The pool and their classes are also very good. I took one and my swim teacher Britney was wonderful.
Tip for the new comers: the center doesn't have direct access from the car. It is behind the shops. You will need to park the car and walk.

great classes and programming for every age and ability! The Young Actors Theatre Camp is the best value in Reston for kids summer camps!

I stopped by the RCC today because I was on an early morning walk. I was so curious to see the new aquatic center. Gorgeous! Can't wait to take a dip. The staff was also very friendly and showed me around. Told me about the different water temperatures for the two pools. I was very impressed. Great tile art on the walls too!

Love the variety of classes there. My son loves the swim classes. Everyone I've encountered there is very nice. Sad the pool will be closed for so long but excited to see the new one!

Great Community Center! There are a host of activities to hosted by the center. Likewise there are a host of restaurants and shops to keep you engaged. There is plenty of parking and easy access from nearby roads. You must explore to appreciate!
