So, my fiance and I adopted a second chance cat named stachennator. He is a second change cat from the mulnoth county shelter. The Oregon human society only diagnosed that he was being monitor for diarrhea. That was it. When we adopted him he didn't eat for 4 days! We took them to the buckman veterinarian downtown Portland and he had 3 other issues.

1. Gastro intestinal virus (500$+)
2. a ear yeast infection (157$)
3. stud tail (minor issue but still paid 70 dollars for check up and 35 for meds for it.)

So we called an asked for a reimbursement of the fees. The humane society said no because we already adopted him even though they claimed he only had diarrhea. So we bite the bullet for the humane society who don't do diagnostics on their pets. If you plan to get a pet here first ask for a proper diagnostic of the pet signed by a doctor. Our cat supposedly had rabies shot but there was no signature from the mulnoth county doctor or any vaccine number on the certificate we got. (that's illegal practice according to Dr. bishop from the buckman veterinarian clinic.)
