I'm an artist and I'm generally disappointed by the art that makes it into museums but this was a happy exception. They had only 3 artists work up and 2 were women artists, which was amazing and made me so happy. I was introduced to artists I'd never heard of but were producing excellent work that deserves to be seen. BMOCA is exactly what a contemporary art museum should be.
