Statue of Liberty

Statue of Liberty
If you go to New York City please make sure you won' miss this one visiting the Statue of Liberty up close and go straight the stairs up as many as 354 steps and see the view of the city of Manhattan directly from the window on the Crown of Lady Liberty.

I went there from the Central Park by the subway train to the most end station named South Ferry station. For sure you have to change the train 2 or 3 times to go there. Go out from the station to Battery Park to board a ferry to Liberty Island where the statue stands. This is the only departure point in Manhattan.

Then when you arrive at the island you can join the queuing line to climb up stairs to the crown, when you are on the top of the crown it's very suggested to move fast and take turn with other people behind you to see to the window.

There's a souvenir shop and refreshment counter down there .
