I over payed rent before I moved out. I was guaranteed to be reimbursed the remainder after the pro rated amount. When COVID19 hit, I asked the stand-in building manager if I could have a little extra time to move out, she said yes. I called 4 times that same week and left messages to call me back so we can settle on a date. I never heard a response, and received a $500 bill for cleaning they had to do on the day of my originally scheduled move out. I had valuable things still in the apartment, have not seen any of my money, and cannot contact anyone to help me. DO NOT LIVE HERE. They stole items from me and never contacted me about any of it until it was time to bill me on false claims. The pics they sent as proof clearly show I was not fully moved out, since I was told by the interim building manager that it was no problem to have an extra week. No response, I can t get the name of that building manager, and I m being given an excuse of corporate staff working from home as a reason for not returning calls. No one in corporate is working at all if a call can t be returned, I ve called every department and left several messages. Not sure this pandemic is a time to be treating tenants who paid rent on time for 3 years like complete sh*t.
