I have recently bought a pre-owned Lexus RX450h from Troy and Colleen. I has the right amount of mileage for the price point that I was looking for FINALLY. I live in downtown Toronto and went to Lexus Downtown along Dundas and Don Valley North Lexus by Steels. These two locations knows how to treat you like crap.

First, Don Valley North the guy there was busy that I understand and he was fluent in speaking in the dialect that the customers he was dealing with at the time and didnt mind the wait. When I finally met him and told him my specifics he simply gave me a list of their inventory and had to do the search myself. To top it all of despite of what I said and what my wife was partly looking for he said "oh we dont have that model with that color, why not get a Prius." If I did wanted to get a Prius I would had gone to the TOYOTA dealership.

Second, Lexus Downtown I met the dealer and I told him my specifics and there was one and it was fully loaded with another $30,000 added than what were usually looking to budget. I repeatedly asked him for his other inventories and if he could make some phone calls but he keeps feigning the subject and keeps saying "dont worry my goal is by the end of this conversation I am going to make you smile and get that SUV." No matter what are my attempts of asking a direct question regarding my specifics he barely answered me directly. It left us a bitter taste that we were thinking of a third party private dealership that we dont know its reputation in looking for our car.

Now I had to go far and realized that going the distance is worth it. I found my specifics piqued when I saw the SUV that I was looking for in Performance Lexus. I corresponded with Troy via phone and email and he has been very professional and courteous with me. It might not be white as my wife would had liked but it was the price point that we both could agree on. The true litmus test was meeting my wife (my banker) and she like how Troy dealt with her which I am very impressed. My wife is a tough customer and I give Troy props for that. We shared our past experience with the other Lexus dealerships and they were appalled on the stories we told him, from then on he said that he would treat you the utmost respect that any buyer would get... RESPECT. (then my wife nodded) He then saw my trade up RAV4 SPORT and was generous with the assessment. Finally, we met Colleen and shes amazing with the numbers and made it painless with the financing (were buying a Lexus it shouldnt be a root canal procedure). She was great and funny as she gave us the breakdown and surely she got the thumbs up also from my wife when everything was said and done. I told Colleen that I could reach out and hug her, she said that made her day. LOL She also said that it breaks her heart when she sees a Lexus with garbage inside the car by the owner or a massive dent on a fender which was a total disrespect for the Toyota and Lexus brand. I like how she said that owning a Lexus there is the PRIDE of owning a good brand that should show about the person who is driving it. That I liked and them my wife told me to keep the SUV clean as part of the deal. SIGH...

Performance Lexus where Troy and Colleen as a team were great in dealing with us and made the experience personal and painless. Who knows that you have to drive out of the GTA just to get some respectable service and definitely worth the drive. Troy gave me a parting gift when I finally signed the contract and to pick up my RX450h and it was definitely meant for my wife because why would I use buckskin throw blanket LOL. It was nice and elegant with the Lexus logo. Troy also mentioned that I am going to be in "trouble" once I get my Lexus. With the sound of apprehension I asked WHY? He said "Once you get a LEXUS you cant go back to any other brand and your next car in the future is another LEXUS." I had to agree with him on that. LOL.

That experience I dont mind driving to pick up my future Lexus all the way at Performance Lexus in St. Catherines.
