Went over to check out the new 2020 Supra. Rather than the $54k MSRP, they had it marked up to $72k. They called it a "market adjustment". I call it price gouging. I have nothing against making a profit, but what they're doing is profiteering. While it's their right to try to get whatever they can for any car they sell, they should understand that it may come at a cost. I bought my first car from Round Rock Toyota in 1994, and we're a dedicated Toyota family, but I'll never buy another car here. They may make the extra $18k on this Supra, but they will lose out on selling me the dozen Toyotas I'm likely to buy over the next 20-25 years. If you want to be treated like a valued customer rather than a target to be taken advantage of, take your business elsewhere.

Update: I called the GM, Tracy, the same day this happened and left her a voicemail with my phone number. She never called me back. I did get a generic email addressing me as "Daniel" and saying they were "glad you are considering us for your next vehicle." But I'm not.
