You definitely must see the aquarium, when you visit Boston. The first thing you see when you get inside are penguins, and you just can't stand the cuteness! The whole 4 levels of the building are centered around the huge water tank with sharks, mantas, giant turtles and lots of fish of all kinds. You can pick your spot and watch them for hours! Other smaller tanks are on the outer walls, there you can see herring, water horses, golden eels, jellyfishes and other ocean creatures, also they have a contact tank for kids to explore crabs. Hint #1: buy tickets online - the price is the same as in their ticket office, but you don't have to wait a long line under the sun. Hint #2: if you have a small baby with you - take it in a ergo carrier; if your kid can walk - let him walk - leave a stroller on the first level. It gets crowded there and it takes time to squeeze with a stroller, kids get bored and anxious and you end up rolling the empty stroller after your running kid. Hint #3: make a lift to the 4th level at the beginning and go down to the 1st by foot - it's easier to go down, right? Enjoy your visit!
