This is an awesome place! First - getting there was easy: went to the downtown train station (Southern Cross - I have got there using a free train-TRAM- also), bought a card (Miki) and follow the instructions of google maps (the internet there is excellent). The stop station is just by the zoo. I have bought an experience to get close to cangooroos (there is several options in the website), and I have saw plenty of animals that simply does not exist in South America (ducks, koalas, tasmanian devils, and so on). It appears to me that the experience is even better for childs - there was a lot of them with their parents there, and they were surprised with everything. I really like it!
