One of my favorite exhibits at the Exploratorium was the Shadow Box. In this room, they use large phosphor screens that stores light from a strobe flash. This "freezes" your shadow for a limited amount of time. It fades in a minute, but it's nice to know when the flash will go off again because they have a timer. What's even cooler about catching your shadow is that you can use a flashlight to "draw" on the walls. It turns out looking like glow in the dark paint!

The Exploratorium After Dark is perfect for a date or just an outing with your girl friends. Ch-ch-check it out! Highly recommended!
