I would like to express my very disappointing experience in the lack of professionalism and moral conduct by the Ray White Redcliffe staff member, Catherine O Keeffe.

We made an offer on a property that was accepted by the vendor, and confirmed in writing by Ms O Keeffe. Ms O'Keeffe was putting pressure on us to sign the contract without it being reviewed by a solicitor.

Any reasonable professional would deem it acceptable that I seek independent legal advice regardless of it being a standard contract or not. We advised Ms O Keeffe via email that I will definitely be proceeding with the purchase and advised the name of solicitor's firm that I have engaged to review the contract and complete the transaction.

Ms O Keeffe notified us (via SMS) that she advised the vendors to accept another offer without giving us any opportunity to discuss further.

I question Ms O Keeffe s ethical conduct and moral obligations in this transaction which is further highlighted by her lack of professional courtesy to contact me and advise she is negotiating other offers despite the fact that an offer was made and accepted.

We are not first time purchaser, and as such, find this behaviour unethical. This is why I am obliged to warn others of our experience with Ray White Redcliffe, particularly Ms O Keeffe s.
