During the flood I had to remove my carpet and ;pad. At that juncture there was no word that the city would be doing this for free. I called Western Disposal to remove the rug and pad and the dispatcher DID NOT inform me that if I waited for my regular pick-up the cost would be considerably less. The rug was picked up but not my spirits as they charged me $400. When I called to complain, and I've been a loyal customer for 25 years, I was treated rudely and they would take no responsibility for the dispatcher's error. If Western Disposal wasn't the only trash game in town, I would certainly cancel my service. I used to spend time picking up trash in my alley and asking neighbors to do the same. No more Mrs. Nice Gal. I am very disappointed in Western Disposal's attitude and their greedy ways.
