Went the ER for a kidney stone and I WAITED so long that the pain passed before my name was called. I WAS IN AGONY FOR HOURS! Crying on my boyfriend, trying to be quiet so I didn't disturb anyone else. Just waiting...

Have you ever been in constant pain for so long, that eventually your body just drops in exhaustion? Pain still as strong, but now you don't have the energy to move or say a sentence?

They didn't believe me or my boyfriend when we told them what was happening. The staff were unhelpful and unprofessional. They said that the patients are taken in the order that they are received. I've never been to an ER that has done that.

I wasn't allowed to have my phone when I finally was called. I was too scared to move or talk for fear of the pain coming back. They took my blood, left the I.V needle in my arm for fluids that I needed but never got, and was sent back into the waiting room AGAIN.

Again, they had me wait... but this time, I left.

This ER doesn't care. If you want HELP, go somewhere else.

But if you want mental trauma, you're in the right place.
