I gave an overall rating of 2 stars and there are reasons why. Travis Powers was an awesome salesman and would use him in a heartbeat again! However, there have been a couple of issue since purchasing the camper. We were charged a fee to have the camper inspected and make sure everything worked etc. We get home with the camper which is 3 hours away and the speaker in the awning is blown, so the sound quality was horrible. After multiple messages to Travis, Todd from the service department contacts me and I get him the information off the speaker and told him to send it to me and I ll fix it myself. I did receive the speaker, so that issue is fixed. Now I have an issue with the fridge. I turned the fridge on a couple days before our camping trip to get the fridge cooled down (just like I have done with my campers before). The fridge will stay on for a few hours and then the check light comes on and the fridge shuts off. I turn the fridge off and back on and it continues to do the same thing. I emailed Todd for advise on how to fix it or suggestions and no response. We did go on our camping trip and had no issues with the fridge kicking off, so the only difference is the camper is parked inside of my shed at home with a 50amp plug and at the campground it is parked outside, so don t know if that s the issue or what, but have never had this issue before with my campers. When searching for a new camper I saw multiple negative reviews about Camping World and just figured they were reviews from the type of people who you can never make happy with what you do, so tried to ignore some of the negative comments. However, I am now one of those people leaving negative comments because all the stories are true and I tried not to believe them. When you purchase your camper they waste an hour of your time talking about how great of a service department they have and will do anything to help, well that appears to be a lie because I still have no response 4 days later. I am a very easy going person and I usually try not to be negative, but it makes me mad that I ve wasted this money on this inspection and still have issues. My only advice is that only purchase from Camping World if you live close to them, so you can take it to their shop to be fixed if you can t try and trouble shoot some things yourself because their service department will not respond to you.
