Beautiful Palace! We orebooked 5 mind before using my mobile phone well worth it! Why bother waiting in a line for a person to take your cash when you can do it in under 5 mins!

The Palace is beautifully well kept, and the rooms are stunning. It is a shame that most of the furniture was pillaged a d never returned but some rooms have had a few things put in to add an atmosphere.

The restaurant was a touch dated and needed some updating just a touch of paint and some pictures perhaps. The food was wonderful, and the service was good. Touch expensive but it is a national heritage place so...to be expected.

The gardens were just breathtaking but wear waterproof shoes as it's dense gravel and will go everywhere and gets puddles.

My only real complaint of the day was that the signage was non-existent! I wanted to view t Me Petit Trianon and wanted to take a leisurely walk there as it is some distance but no signage was found. This was very disappointing. The bus to get there was also very expensive it was just under 5 which considering the tickets are 20 to enter the palace very expensive! And not all that dry if you are unlucky enough to sit in the outer edge.

Well worth a visit, though and will go again when the statues are not covered for the winter months.
