Amazing. It was once the tallest building in NYC, but the sheer design of this statue, the way she stands alone and the location just to look at from below is breath taking. Can be cold so wrap up warm. Also if you do want to climb into the crown you have to book in advance. Check out the website, make sure you take your passport, and be prepared to walk up a narrow stair case.

Alternatively you can just get the elevator to the pedestal and enjoy the view from the balcony. Obvs can get busy.
