I had a sales representative cold call our business just a few moments ago. He asked for the owner like he was asking for an old friend. When I told him he would need to leave a message, as the owner does not keep office hours, he continued to ask for different people, without giving any information about himself or his business. When he did not like the repeated response that he would need to leave a message, he proclaimed, "Jesus Christ, I know that. You already said it five times". I know I have said it five times, politely, as he did not want to take the answer he was given. Very unprofessional on his part and what I would consider a borderline harassing phone call. At this point it doesn't matter what he was trying to pedal, we most certainly will not deal with a company that has representatives behaving in that manner.
