Very uncommunicative. We rescued a stray and brought it to the humane society just in case it had a previous owner. We indicated at the time that we brought it in that we wanted to adopt and called in weekly for about a month (it was a young cat and put in foster care) regarding adopting it.

Eventually the cat was put up for adoption without anyone contacting us either before or after.
