The most bizarre new car buying experience of my...

The most bizarre new car buying experience of my life. A real disconnect on delivering the product and customer service. They tried to make everything right and we are still dealing with their errors six weeks later. While they are responsive on making things right, our lost time to follow up is the reason this is two stars.

1. Deal cut and a set an 8 pm appointment to sign the papers the next working day. At 9:30pm, we finally met with the finance department, bought the car and went to drive away! Unfortunately, the paperwork for the sale was the wrong car and had to redo paper work. We did not finish until 11pm three hours after our pick up appointment.

2. Around 10 pm, the Sales manager had a impromptu sales meeting on the floor, big melt down about all the mistakes made. Yelling and threatening the sales people s jobs due to the various errors - apparently financed process the wrong car more than once that night. Finance blamed sales for setting up files wrong. Sales Manger should look in mirror and ask himself how he managed the organization to this state.

3. We are ready to go now. They told us our new car was detailed and ready to go! It was not detailed or ready to go. Battery was dead and had to be jumped, then driven and tested for ten minutes, glue from stickers on window, car needed a quick polish, and empty tank of gas. This is a 11pm, we needed to get home and took the car as is. We filled up down the street. They did reimburse us for the tank of gas and came to get car and detailed two days later.

4. No manual in the car had to call and ask. They federal expressed a manual to our house.

5. They My Audi set up did not work and they had to reset at dealership. That took 48 hours.

6. Six weeks after purchase, we have an expired temp tag on the car. I finally called and the plate are sitting at the dealership.

Overall, I do not trust the processes in the dealership. The only saving grace is our actual sales person is responsive. The management appears to lack check and balances on their processes to ensure you are getting what you expected - the car you purchased, a detailed car and legally registered. Not sure if we will use service department, why would anything be better there?
