My wife just spent thirty two days in the I.C.U. She was transferred today to Care Partners while she was being transported out of the unit the male nurse on shift made a comment as the door closed "SHE'S FINALLY GONE HALLELUJAH " I would have loved to have went back in and had a talk with him but my wife needed me by her side and of course he would just call security. My wife was and is suffering from Guillain Barre Syndrome which is a very painful and scary illness but most but not all of the nurses and c.n.a.`s acted like it was a bother to tend to her needs.I know this because I was with her every day during her stay, from 10:30am until 4:30pm and believe me you can see and learn a lot about people in thirty two days. I would love to name names because I have them all and their was a couple of great nurses and one terrific C.N.A. and mostly very professional specialist .
