Disappointed with extremely slow response.
I trusted on all the good reviews and put in my faith for financing for my very first home with Masters Team Mortgage.
1: Applied and sent all requested documents on 5/11/2020
2: After long wait and several follow ups on updates - got the pre-approved letter on 5/23
3: On 5/25 Put in an offer for a lovely place in Rocklin
4: 5/27: Offer got accepted
Started following up with Masters team to start the underwriting approval process, received some communication initially but then it went all quiet. Kept on following up to provide us an update on what is going on. Whenever we were able to receive a response it all was same - "We are waiting for an update from our underwriter".
on 6/4 - Sent an email asking for a response by noon of 6/5 stating that if no response is provided we would not proceed further.
Got a call from MTM saying that we would certainly receive an update by the specified time.
No response received on 6/5 till 2 PM and requested our realtor to start the offer withdrawal process risking the earnest money.

Extremely disappointed!!
Lost faith in such unprofessional circumstances - how would a long term relationship last with a lender if in the beginning itself the company shows such apathy to someone's dream home!

Happy for people who got good service but I would stay away from this company.
