Brought car in for an oil change, recommended (by this dealership) brake fluid flush and check engine light. At 1:30 shuttle driver calls and asks if I need to be picked up. I tell him I haven't heard about my car. Call to find out the status of my service. Bobby answers says my representative Kim is not available and she will call me back. At 4pm having not yet heard from Kim I call back. I am informed they just check the codes and I need to replace my purge valve for $250+. Paying $90 for a diagnosis, I decline knowing the part is about $45 and labor is about 15 minutes. Also told should replace spark plugs and brakes. This dealership replaced spark plugs approx. 6 months ago. That brakes are worn. This dealership replace my brakes approx. 8 month ago. Feel that the service center is just trying to have me pay them more money. Told the shuttle driver would come get me in approx. 20 min. 20 min later shuttle driver calls me from dealership to ask where I am located. Drive car home brakes don't feel right, give it another day brakes are losing pressure at stop. Must be related to brake flush. Return next day to have problem reviewed. After an hour wait told brakes work fine. Take service manager out to car stop car foot on brake car begins to roll. Just as I described to Kim when I returned the car. Another 30 minutes told car needs a new Master cylinder.

Now I brought my car in brakes working great. Pay over $120 for maintenance and brakes don't work. It is my belief the system was pressurized to flush system and damaged Master Cylinder. Unable to do anything about that and needing brakes I succumb to the additional cost of a Master Cylinder. I continue to use this dealership because this is where I bought my car. I believe in taking good care of my car and like all my records being in one place. However, no one at this dealership appears to look at these records so I guess that was an invalid point. This dealership is extremely hard to trust. I do not believe they honestly inspect the items they state on sheet. I think they cut corners which in this case caused me additional expense. Kim Murscoe shows poor communication skills and provides poor customer service. I am now $350 over budget on this oil change increasing my credit card debt. Seems the center would not be happy until I had paid $500 in service.
