I am a Veteran. The local clinic sent me to Novant back in February (2020)
I took the authorization with me and presented it to the billing department. No one ever got paid. The hospital has just now (11/12/20) sent me a bill.
The ER doctor turned me over to a collection agency ruining my credit.
When I called Novant to again give them the authorization, it took three phone calls, four people, ( five if you include the person that came on the line to sell me something) and 45 minutes. THIS IS WHY WE NEED A SINGLE PAYER SYSTEM.
