Loved the condo we stayed at and the resort feel we experienced All the employees at the resort were helpful and friendly. Malt Realty however kept an additional $190 from my security deposit in addition to their cleaning fee. It was supposedly for garbage disposal as I cleaned out the refrigerator and checked out on a day the was not garbage day. They really need to monitor their cleaning staff to make sure they are being truthful. I emailed our rental agent and also her manager and they have not returned the $190 they took out. Very disappointing and very unfair. They collect garbage two days per week and we took the garbage each of those days throughout the month. Cleaning staff said it looked like we had not taken the garbage out the whole month. We are a retired couple and would never dream of missing a garbage day. Additionally, I emailed the rental agent to inform her we left the garbage in the garage so the animals would not get it (next door condo consistently put garbage out the night before and it was all over the next morning because of animals) My advice, take a video of how you left the condo when checking out if you do it at a time where a rental isn't doing a walk through with you to keep them honest.
