It offers a number of complimentary services like wi-fi, 2 bottles of water per day, mini muffins in the morning, ice team throughout the day, free beach chairs to enjoy a beautiful sunset, etc. Among them, the free "canoe experience" is something worth of doing.
This is a one-hour session with a maximum of 4 participants. Two very experienced local "canoe masters" will train and guide the whole session. You will get wet during the session, so please dress appropriately. You won't be allowed to carry many things with you (and you will have to leave them on the shore unattendedly). You don't have to be a good swimmer and wearing glasses is OK. As the the group paddle the canoe out to the ocean, you experience the beauty and tranquility right away. When the water is clear, you can see the coral reef and marine life right beneath the canoe. We have also encountered a manta ray a few times near the surface. Over a distance away, we have sightings of whales (in February). The canoe master used a underwater microphone to show us the busy calls of whales. During the trip, the master allowed us to make a few dives into the water to see more things. It's a 5-star experience!
The hotel offers a free shuttle service to closeby places. On the way back, it wasn't reliable for us. We had called them 3 times and waited for about an hour. and finally, they had to send a bellman to pick us up. This may be due to the bad communication between the bell's desk and the shuttle driver during an inrush of hotel guests. The overall service experience is good, but be aware and patient.
