The location of the restaurant is great; in a park, overlooking the Karpendonkse Plas. Especially in good weather, if you can sit outside on the terrace, you can enjoy it.
The reception and operation are professional. It is noticeable that they have a lot of experience with this.
The amuses were tasty and promised good for the rest of the dinner. That was fine, even though the starter was very disappointing. This was wagyu, filled with mushrooms. The explanation was told that the filling would be lukewarm, which would melt the fat in the meat. In reality, the filling was cold, giving the whole a somewhat greasy texture. The mouthfeel was not pleasant. The main course and dessert were particularly tasteful; tenderloin with a light-spicy sauce and crispy fried sweetbreads. The dessert consisted of different preparations of strawberry.
The prices are high, which you can despise at a star restaurant. I am not convinced that it was really worth it. It was tasty, but it was not an unforgettable experience. Maybe my expectations were too high.
