Was a member a few years ago , they apparently hire off duty police officers as security , it was winter I entered the facility and before I could get in the door good officer Ray rush me and told me to take off my hat I was caught off guard so I didn't say anything and just removed my hat , after my workout I spoke with him and said he could have let me get in the door good and give me the opportunity to remove my hat , he said to me "you're a Man and a Man should know to remove his hat when he enters a room " there were many implications in his tone , I was beyond offended ,,, I remember his name because when I asked someone else what his name is , he heard me and got in my face and in a very aggressive manner told me clearly
" MY NAME IS RAY!!! OFFICER RAY !!! " I felt threatened , there is nothing about me that should have caused that kind of in your face reaction from officer Ray .
I spoke with someone that said they were management but didn't seemed concerned , didn't return after that , the whole ordeal was unprofessional .
BTW I grew going to the Salvation Army Brainerd Corps as a child what I know about truth and fairness comes from a combination of my Mom and the church , I use to love going to camp Wonderland every summer , it's a shame that do to poor management and a poorly trained officer ,,, anyone would have a negative experience like the one I encountered .
