We have an existing system and wanted to get rid of our landline. Our existing monitoring company wanted to increase our monthly rate $7 as well as charge for a transmitter. Smith Thompson also charged for the transmitter but reduced our monthly monitoring bill by about $6 per month. The installation was very quick (15 minutes), the installers were on time, and called ahead to make sure we were home. The next day I tested the system and got a quick call from ST to confirm they had received the alarm call. Very satisfied so far.
