Review of The D Casino Hotel Las Vegas

I came down to Vegas to attend Mopars and Muscle Cars at the Strip and to celebrate my birthday. We decided to book The D because they were one of the host Hotels for the event.

The rooms very nice and and spacious. Well the King size bees room at least, not sure what it would be like with two queens in there. The bathroom was nice too with plenty of space, hot shower, clean elongated toilet and fancy sink.

The room had a modern look to it. Definitely not that typically tacky Vegas vibe. The bed had plenty of pillows and all comfortable especially the bed.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I asked one of the dudes at the coffee counter for recommendations on a place to eat and he recommended Flipping Good Burgers and Chicken a short walk down Fremont. They had an amazing hot chicken sandwich.

The only negative thing about The D is that even on the 27th floor, you hear all the concert music going on at Fremont Street level. Seemed to go on until about 2 am. Not sure because I fell asleep. I can sleep through anything. I've slept through earthquakes and hurricanes, so it didn't bother me too much, but if you're a light sleeper then be forewarned.

I would totally stay here again if I were to stay in Downtown.
