I ve worked for Thomson MacConnell for 16 years plus and I m a short timer compared to most. In that time I ve learned the most important part of service is taking care of the customer the way you would like to be taken care of yourself.

The MacConnell brothers have always supported doing what s right for the customer, and maybe not always what s right for the dealership. Chris, Dan, and Tim which I consider my mentors, bosses, and close friends, have always said to me just take care of our customers, they re family . That s a different outlook than most dealerships. Our customers are not just a number, they are people with lives and dreams, who appreciate fine automobiles, and we get to know by name and desires. This is truly a family owned dealership where you will be remembered each time you enter.

No one s a stranger at this dealership. The owners actually think about their employees when making company decisions. When my son was 3, he had a medical issue. The MacConnells decided to have our company insurance re-written to cover his medical needs. That s the kind of people they are.

I ve seen many faces returning to buy or lease again and again, this is a testament to the MacConnell s commitment to taking care of people, a practice that is unseen in today s world of business. I m proud to say I work for a customer comes first dealership.

I ve told quite of few of my customers that I lost my dad this year. He s had, and still does have, a business that I ve been involved with most my life that s taking more and more of my time. I ve decided to move on to take care of my dad s business full-time and watch over my mom in the years to come. I ll miss working for the MacConnells, whom are great caring people. Also Donna Griffin whom is both as beautiful inside as she is outside .

By far the best job I ve ever had. -Russell Perkins
